COMPOSITION
Contains per ml:
Iron Dextran.................................. 100 mg
Water for Injection......................... q.s.1ml
INDICATIONS
Prevention and treatment of the ferrous deficency anemia in cattle, sheep and other animals
USAGE AND DOSAGE
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection
Cattle: 12ml per 250kg b.w.
Calf, foal: 4-8ml
Sheep, goat, dog: 3ml
Cow: For prevention, 5ml at two weeks before delivery.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Administration in combination with tetracyclines, because of the interaction of iron with tetracyclines.
SIDE EFFECT
Muscle tissue is coloured temporarily by this preparation.
Leaking of injection fluid can cause a persistent discoloration of skin.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Meat 28 days; Milk 7 days.
STORAGEPRECAUTIONS
Protect from light and store in a cool dry place and below 30℃
Keep out of reach of children
