DESCRIPTION:
It is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic containing levamisole and oxyclozanide for the control of nematode infestations and chronic fascioliasis in cattle and buffaloes. Oxyclozanide removes practically all flukes (Fasciola spp) present in the bile ducts. Levamisole removes mature and developing immature stages of a wide range of nematodes.
INDICATIONS:
It is indicated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematode infestations and chronic fascioliasis in cattle and buffaloes.
In the abomasum : Haemonchus, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus spp.
In the intestines : Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Chabertia and Bunostomum spp.
In the lungs : Dictyocaulus spp, including inhibited D. viviparus larvae.
DOSAGE ANDADMINISTRATION:
For oral administration
Cattle: One bolus per 150 kg bodyweight.
For animals weighing 300 kg or more, a maximum of 2 boluses should be given.
As the bolus is scored, it may be broken in half to enable the dose to be administered in units of 75 kg bodyweight.
Sheep, goats: Half bolus per 50 kg.
